The love for Beanz in Britain runs deep, some might even say it’s irrational. The thought of leaving behind even a single bean can be enough to bring a tear to the eye of any devoted fan.

But fear not, Britain! A food scientist on behalf of Heinz has an effortless solution: simply store your Beanz tin upside down. Yes, you read that right.

It turns out that the pesky pulse problem occurs because gravity pulls the beans to the bottom of the tin when stored upright, compacting them and making the last few harder to dislodge.

To celebrate this bean breakthrough and help spread the word about this ingenious (well…sort of) hack, we have gone all-in with a cheeky new limited-edition release: the Beanz Meanz Upside Down tin. Hurry, only 570 cans available!

Professor Charles Spence explains,

“Caused by the cylindrical shape and narrow opening of Heinz Beanz tins, the beans become trapped in unreachable angles, only made more difficult due to the thick sauce that is distinctively Heinz. However, when stored upside down, the beans don’t settle at the ‘bottom’ of the tin, making it easier to enjoy every last bean!
